Parent-operated accounts
Storyfetti is designed for adults creating family keepsakes. Children should not create accounts or submit information directly.
Minimal information
Collect only a first name, broad age range, optional preferences, and the photograph needed for the requested project. Do not request a school, address, precise birthday, or location.
Private storage
Configured uploads are re-encoded and stored in a private bucket protected by account access rules. Projects do not appear in a public gallery.
Retention and deletion
The pilot assigns original photographs a deletion deadline, set to 72 hours after upload by default. Parents can delete an entire project and its stored files from the dashboard.
Temporary downloads
Completed private files are delivered through short-lived signed links rather than permanent public addresses.
Safety review
Live AI input and output should be moderated. Flagged projects should enter a limited-access manual review queue.
Legal review required
Before public launch, qualified counsel should review COPPA, state privacy laws, consent wording, vendor contracts, retention practices, and the final privacy notice.
